Q: What would you tell someone who is considering a future Paris Travel Experience trip?
Kristina: “It's an amazing way to see the city, especially if you haven't gotten to explore it before. It's the perfect mix of guided group excursions and solo exploration time. It made the daunting task of planning a trip abroad much more manageable and less scary to know I had this support system there with me.”
Q: Do you have any suggestions or areas of improvement for the custom Paris Guidebook you received as a guest on the trip?
Kristina: “No, that guidebook was AMAZING. Incredibly thorough and personalized. I couldn't have asked for anything better.”
Q: We had a few tours with local guides - what did you think of our experience with them?
Kristina: “I loved them both! One of the highlights of my trip was the Marais walking tour with Stephanie.”
Q: What was your favorite experience or moment of the trip?
Kristina: “My favorite experience was going to Giverny. I can only take so much big city living, and so the midweek getaway to the countryside felt like a dream. Absolutely loved walking through Monet's garden.”
Q: Was there anything that would have made the Paris Travel Experience even better?
Kristina: “I honestly can't think of anything! I will say I wish I had one more full day to myself to do a day trip somewhere. I used what would've been the full unscheduled day to go to Giverny, which was wonderful, so I feel like I should've tacked on a day on either end of the trip to have a little more flex time. Not really a change to be implemented, just more of self-reflection!”
Q: What about the Paris Travel Experience surprised you the most?
Kristina: “I was honestly surprised how much my photography improved. I ended up with pictures I actually would print out, rather than just losing them to the depths of my photos app…. I feel like I frame my pictures so much better now. I also know much more about the tools at my fingertips when taking a picture, like aperture. I even found myself taking much better pictures of my pets when I got home!”
